Many routine follow-ups, medication concerns, prescription refills, lab reviews, and common health concerns can be handled virtually. When testing, a physical examination, or hands-on care is needed, we'll see you at our Hamden office.

Membership is always optional. This is a great fit for patients who want predictable costs, easier access to care, direct communication, and an ongoing relationship with a provider who knows them.

Your first comprehensive visit includes 60 minutes reserved just for you. We'll take the time to understand your health history, medications, preventive care needs, current concerns, and goals while creating a plan for your ongoing care.
This isn't a rushed appointment. It's the foundation for having a provider who actually knows you.

Not looking for a membership? That's okay.
Book a one-time sick visit when you have a new illness or concern and simply need to be evaluated.
Loved your visit? Become a member. ✨
Join within 15 days of your sick visit and your $199 initial comprehensive visit is only $99.

🧪 Just Want to Know What You Have? — $60
Feeling sick and just want to know if it's COVID, flu, or strep?
We'll collect your swab, run the appropriate test, and give you your result. That's it.
COVID-19 • Flu • Strep (when indicated)
Testing-only visits do not include a medical evaluation or treatment.
Positive strep results automatically convert to a $100 medical visit, which includes your testing, a full medical evaluation, and clinically appropriate treatment.
Your total is $100 — not $160.

The Howard Office proudly accepts HUSKY Health as our only insurance plan.
For us, it's about access and inclusion — not income. Everyone deserves personal, relationship-based care from a provider who has time to listen, get to know them, and make them feel heard.
No membership required. We bill covered services directly to HUSKY according to plan benefits.
Have insurance? Keep it. Membership doesn't replace your health insurance. It simply gives you a different way to access your primary care at The Howard Office. You can still use your insurance for things outside of your membership, including prescriptions, labs, imaging, specialists, emergency care, and hospital services, based on your plan's coverage.
Think of membership as your primary care — and your insurance as coverage for everything else.
